Eastern Diamondbacks are the largest and most impressive of the north American crotalids. Average adult size is 3-6 feet but occasionally you will see larger specimins. The largest on record was 8 feet in length. This species is in serious trouble in its native habitat due to land development and over collection. This makes more captive breeding programs that much more important. Our offspring are from high yellow adults from long standing captive bred bloodlines.
